Northern Coyotes

Coyotes are wild canines with dog or wolflike features. Coyotes used to live in only prairies and desserts of West America and Mexico. Now coyotes are found mainly in North America roaming forrests and mountains.  That is why coyotes have adapted the name northern coyote.
Northern coyotes are omnivores and can eat lots of things. Things that they come across such as rabbit, rodents, fish, frog, and deer. They also eat insects, snakes, fruit, and carrion (dead animal flesh).
Northern coyotes are smaller than wolves. They can grow up to 32-37 inches(81-94 centimeters). Northern coyotes can weigh up to about 20-50 pounds (9-23 kilograms). Northern coyotes can run up to 40 miles (64 kilometers) an hour.
If you are out camping somewhere in South Canada or North America, you will probably be able to hear Northern Coyotes calling out in the night. Their call can turn into a strident canine chorus. This call is the way northern coyote communicate with eachother. When they  communicate, their calls can sound like dog calls. Just a little higher in pitch. Coyotes can make interesting sound.

This is a picture of a pack of northern coyote in winter. From fall until winter, northern coyote form packs to have more successful hunting since it gets cold, it gets harder to find food.

POLKA DOTS!

I love polka dots. I don't know why, but there is something about them that just make me smile!

..... Polka dots are so dotty!

My Poem

How to Identify a Caring Person
In a soccer game she will come to you,
You will be able to tell from her kind eyes,
That she cares,
Everyone will see her encouraging the team,
Even if you catch a glimpse of her,
She's be a side helping whoever be in need,
If someone forgot their snack,
You will see her giving her orange and offering her lunch,
Everyone can tell that she cares

Values in my Life

I value a lot of things in my life. Things like family, and honestly, all things that God has given me. One of the things that He has given me was a mind for music! I love music. I love music so much that I can't even explain how much I love it.... well, actually let me give it a try.

I love music because it is a big part of life. You can basicly hear music everywhere you go. Music brings the fun to the world. Without music, we would all probably talk like a robot, move like a robot, and maybe even look like a robot! Thankfully we are not robots. There is music in our voices so we can express our feelings through it. There is music in movement so that we can move smoothly. Lastly, there is music so that we can give color to our appearance (listen to a song that gets you off on the right foot!).

I spend most of the day singing and thinking of  ideas for songs. Sometimes, I actually get around to writing a song halfway. Then I get off track and lose either the tune or my thought. I love to sing a lot! If you ask my family, they will tell you I sing all day, everyday. Whenever I hear a cool rhyme, or when somebody says something catchy, I like to sing it into a cool tone that relates to the phrase. Whenever I hear a song, it gets caught in my head and I can't stop singing the song over and over again. I love to sing!

Singing and music have a lot in common. I value music, and I spend most of my day singing. Singing plays a big part in music! If you like to sing, then you like music. If you like music, you will like singing. Music and singing stick together like brothers and sisters.

Survival Guide to Middle School

If there was one thing about middle school that I wish somebody would have told me, it was that teachers are so harsh!!!!!  In middle school you might want to know that teachers are the meanest, most scariest things in the whole school!

You see those little dots on the cloud?..... yeah... those dots are me and my friends. I still have nightmares of the time that I forgot my homework in science class.... somehow I got away with that. Never forget that teachers are bigger than you are..... a lot bigger and powerful.

If you would ever have the courage to get your teacher off on the right foot, then this is what you do. First be on time to class. If not on time then a little early. Then all you have to do is say, "Hello, how are you doing to day?"  If you say too much they might get bored and grumpy (if they are not already that way). After that, you just sit down and act like a little angel (if that is possible).

Another thing that you might want to know, is never, and I mean never forget your homework! If anybody ever forgets their homework, they should be on the nearset train going anywhere but the school. Some teachers are more strict than others but most teachers will give you detention.... the never ending hole of detention. I, you should know have never gottten detention. If I had, then I probably wouldn't be here now writing this survival guide to middle school.

Read all About it!

    Hatchet
By: Gary Paulsen

The book Hatchet is about a  tipical city boy on his way to meet his father in Canada coming from New York. With just the clothes on his back, and a hatchet that his mother gave him for a present,  Brian has to learn how to survive in the wilderness. Although he went through many perils in his adventure, if rescue comes, will he want to leave?

Hatchet is an awesome book. Anyone who is interested in adventure and suspense should be in the nearest library right now checking out this book. I love this book because you will always want to know what happens next. You will never be able to put this book down!

My Wonderful Weekend

On Sunday I got to go t the mall. I went to the mall with my dad to get speakers for my mP3 player. When we went into the store, it took us a while to find the right speakers. Finally we found them. I had a wonderful weekend!

The speakers that I got are very nice. They work as a clock and as an alarm clock. Here it is!

..... isn't it just beautiful?
